First Quarter Midterms

Midterms went home with students today! Please review them with your child! Many students are missing their science telescope assignments, which is reflected in their science grade. Your child may also have forgotten to put their name on their telescope assignment. There are also a few students who did not complete their first reading log. Students are to read each week for 2 hours, summarize what they read and return their logs on Mondays.

Open House, Ice Cream Social and Book Fair

Our Open House, Ice Cream Social and Book Fair will be held Tuesday, September 7th. Please check your child's planner for more information! I look forward to meeting you!

Welcome to the 2010-2011 School Year!

Welcome to the 5th grade! We have 29 students in our classroom this year!
Some important information you will need to know:

*Students should be bringing home their planners each day. Parents, please check your child's
planner and initial daily.
*Homework should be coming home in a red folder labeled. "Homework Folder". Homework is
due the next day.
*Wednesday Envelopes will again be coming home each week with important handouts and information
from the office
*Check your child's planners for our specialists' schedules!
*Spelling words will come home on Mondays and the tests will be Fridays.
